Microsoft Outlook 2003 for Windows

  1. Open Outlook 2003.
  2. Click the 'Tools' menu, and select 'E-mail Accounts'


     
  3. Select 'Add a new e-mail account,' and click 'Next.'


     
  4. Choose 'IMAP' as your server type by clicking the radio button, and click 'Next.'


    If there is an option to "Manually Configure", we suggest you do so.
     
  5. Fill in all necessary fields to include the following information:

    User Information
    Your Name: Enter your name as you would like it to appear in the 'From:' field of outgoing messages.
    Email Address: Enter your full email address (username@example.com)

    Server Information
    Incoming mail server (IMAP): mail.example.com
    Outgoing mail server (SMTP): mail.example.com

    Login Information
    User Name: Enter your username (excluding '@example.com')
    Note that your username may not be the same as the first part of your email address. It's the same username you use for Webmail.

    Password: Enter your password


    Click "More Settings", then the "Outgoing Server" tab, and ensure "My outgoing server requires authentication". You can use the same settings as the incoming server.


     

  6. Click 'Test Account Settings' After receiving 'Congratulations! All tests completed successfully,' click 'Close.'
  7. Click 'Next,' and then click 'Finish.'

Congratulations! You're done configuring your client to send and retrieve messages.
